Halloween at Disneyland via Dream Disney Vacations

Okay, don?t be jealous. I?m heading to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure this week for some Halloween-style fun which means ? you?re going to have to get your Lindsay Lohan updates from your mom who will get all the latest from Entertainment Tonight later this evening.

I?ve never been to the Disneyland Resort during its Halloween season, which has been in effect since mid-September. In recent years, the resort has really plussed up its fall and Halloween offerings, including the Ghost Galaxy overlay of Space Mountain, the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay featuring The Nightmare Before Christmas?s Jack Skellington, and the Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.

There also is Disney Villain meet and greets (Cruella and Ursula and Captain Hook ? oh my), the upcharge event Mickey?s Halloween Party, and tons of fall, Halloween and Dia de los Muertos decor. Since fall is my favorite season, I?m really looking forward to seeing my favorite place all dressed up in oranges and browns.

This is also my first viewing of the new Buena Vista Street (think Main Street but in 1930s Los Angeles) and Cars Land at Disney California Adventure. Thanks to a $1 billion renovation, DCA has really stepped up its game, and its new Radiator Springs Racers attraction is supposed to be on par with the E-ticket attractions at its sister site across the esplanade. I can?t wait to see it for myself.

I?ll report back with photos and reviews of all the new stuff when I get back. (I?m also excited to try out the MouseAddict app I love so much at the park for the first time!) In the meantime, have a great week.

You too, Lindsay Lohan.
